My friend just called me up asking if there was such thing as a carbon fiber sunroof, i told him that i have never seen anything like that but he thinks it would be neat to have a carbon fiber hood and a carbon fiber sunroof to match it....what do you guy's/girl's think?

there probably is one out there floating around....imo, itll look nasty...but then again, i would have to see one to really judge it

It'd probably have to be custom made which = $$$. You spend money on a moonroof only to delete with an equally expensive cf piece.

I think I have seen these. Maybe not for the RSX though. I would miss the glass up there.

how many times to people actually see the top of your car to pay attention other than sitting in it and looking out the glass? then, they look up and see a hole and no clear view of the Heavens....doesn't seem worth it to me.

It's not for people to look at. It's to save weight. :rolleyes:

i wouldn't do it to an rsx because the moon roof is a nice little feature but for cars that don't have a moon roof like the crx above,or preludes, civics etc.....

If you were going all out, but i like the roof open. I know this might come across as a "stupid" question. (gets suited up), can there be too much CF on a car?? For instance, my car is black (NBP). I was wanting the JDM carbon fiber front lip, CF hood, and CF mirrors. But would that look like ass or too much or what? thanks.

I think that it would look fine on a black car but might look not the greatest on another color.

I know I want the hood and lip for sure though. That wouldnt look too bad i guess. I saw the same setup with the hood and lip on a car at nopi. Im thinking the mirrors might be a little too much. And if i pay all that money for some bomex, spoon, vision, mirrors and they are CF, then I dont want to paint over them.
