I was thinking about buying the 5000K kit (Xenondepot) and then just putting the new bulbs in place of my 4000K kit bulbs. then installing the 4000K's in the high beam locations.
What do you guys think? Reason is, I do a lot of parkway driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC. The more light the safer you are. Otherwise I need to slow my a$$ down. LOL. :dontknow:

Slow your ass down and save some money. A blind person will be able to see your 4000k in your highbeams.

I'm not worried about someone missing me, I want to be able to see down the road farther:)

Can't you see far enough with your 4000K HIDs?? I thought those were the brightest HIDs you can get...yeah, I'm pretty sure they are. So do what 15-20God said - slow down.

This guy just posted pics of his HID high and low beams a few days ago. I think he is running 7500K low beam and 9000K high beam.... Anyway all the info is in the thread.

4000k = closest to daylight = makes it look closest to actual sunlight = as safe as you can get with HIDs

you dont need 2 sets :shakehea:

I know how bright they are......I wanted more light forward of me and higher than the stock low beam pattern. iIt was just an idea...You know like when someone wants to spend their own money. It started due to the new 04- Acura TL has HID low and high beams. Actually it is some kind of a moving reflector that engages when the high beams are switched on and it moves the beam up and it really throws the light down the road.
