I have an auto with I/H/E so far. I was thinking of spraying NOS (50 shots) or going for Hondata ECU. Can't get both of them cause they don't mix. If I go for NOS which is easy cheap power, I can hit within the 14 secs but risky if not use correctly. If I go for ECU, what else can I get to build up my HP. Appreciate any opinions thanks

I don't think ECU is worth the money for a base RSX and NOS might damage your engine so be careful.

I agree with iVieTEC, performance is out of the question right now so I don't even think about it anymore. Maybe after a year, other companies will start building performance parts for the base RSX. At that time, I'll reconsider.

If you really want performance, you should start with racing brakes, high performance tires, and upgraded suspension.

"a real car" Like something with RWD and more than 200HP.....

I would have to say get some suspension if you don't already.
Suspension would make the car more fun than the bolt ons.

Upgrade all your suspension parts and brakes and stuff, then save up for a new motor (k20a) and purchase all the necessary parts and everything to do the swap. Or just leave your car stock for now, treat it nicely, trade it in for the Type-S later or a different car.

Wow no one said anything good about the car besides looks. Okay our car has tons of potential. U don't need a turbo or nos to prove that. There are so many mods u can do. I/H/E is a start. Go with a racing header, motor mounts. Honda gasket, noology ground wires, some new iridium spark plugs. Of course u could always do a type s swap but you'll save money and time with a full motor swap. But there's so many options. Pistons, cams, etc etc etc.. So if u don't want a fast ass car that's 2 much money stick with ur car. U won't get a good trade in for what u spent. Yes we al know rwd awd 4wd and turbo cars would be an easy route. But us modding our cars is what we enjoy. I don't expect to beat a supra or evo but I know my limits. Just have fun with it, there's no point of spending thousand and thousands of dollars if ur not gonna be a professional driver, lol. Love ur RSX and all the potential it has.

i agree with Acura, The base has a ton of potential, parts are still being developed as we speak.... The G Games Integra IS (JDM quivalent to out base model) had some nice mods, performance wise

I brought comptech springs couple of months ago. I was wondering if it was necessary to get camber kits and better shocks? How much are the best brakes? cuz mine suck

the base auto's tranny cant handle that much boost thou. plus the torque converter is turning what torque and power you have to forward motion so its limiting the overall power of the car.

id say your best bet is to go for looks. Thats what i am doing. Saving up for my wings west g5 extreme kit with fender flares.
