Okay, hopefully I can get some info here. Just a little background info on me. About a 3 months ago I went through a bad break up with my girlfriend at the time and a buddy that I had gone to college with gave the idea to come & visit him in Las Vegas NV for a couple days. I had already planned a vacation (was going to propose & all) so I had the time off of work. Needless to say the trip was one of the best things to have ever happened to me. The day before I left I decided to test my luck and proceded to lose $300 at the MGM, but on a whim played one of the large jackpot machines while exiting. BLING BLING..... I won, after taxes (which was a hella lot) I pocketed a fair amount of cash. After paying every bill & loan off I decided to trade in my 98 chevy cavalier for something a lil more sporty. After test driving a number of vehicals and not really finding anything I liked I saw a used 03 RSX in the suburu dealership that I had just test driven a WRX at. I decided to give it a try and fell in love, with only 6,000 miles it was almost brand new, and the real selling point was the leather HEATED seats (the car was canadian, I found out later that that option is not available on US models). Because the Odometer was converted when the car was liscened in the US the factortry warrenty was now voided. That was fine by me, just another bargaining chip to reduce the price of the car. So by the nd of the day I drove off into the sunset with a car I loved and about 13K more than I thought I would have to play with it. So now i'm looking for ways to make this daily driver automatic a 13 second car. I know I'll purchase a turbo and get a built up Tranny to handle the added power, but right now I'm looking for the little things that'd make this car even more fun to drive. What type of lowering/suspension upgrades would be best for a car to not only look good, but handle well? Living near seattle would I have to worry about the wet weather if I installed an AEM or INgen CAI. Also any other sugestions you all would have into how to make this car to make this car to drive even funner than it already is while keeping in mind that come summer it will be getting FI. Thanks :)

first off, welcome to clubrsx :wavey:

if your going FI in summer, just focus on suspension right now. i say get tein ss coilovers, they arent the most high tech coiloves but they offer good looks and good handling from what i read.

good luck on getting 13s auto. i bet it is possible it will just cost alot.

autos dont have clutches... I say get exhaust, CAI, headers, ignition system, Nology sparks and wires(really usefull if you floor it alot and want to keep your engine clean), then take your flywheel to nappa and get them to lighten it or get a new one. then if your gonna be autocrossing i'd say suspension, maybe even before all of that, Then the Jackson Supercharger. I wouldn't go with turbo if your tryin to take care of your rsx. g/l

Suspension is the way to go at first. I autocross my car and it has made all the difference. Eibach is what I run with, no problems yet with them. There are a lot of great posts on every type of mod out there. I suggest just using the search button and reading as much as you can on what other people have done first.

Oh yea, and look into hondata...I hope to do that mod in the summer. Good luck! welcome to clubrsx

tires first . then get good breaks .. pref big breaks .. then get suspension .. progress makes some good sets .. ,, if you are going fi .. you need to make sure you get the right exhaust system

jeez with that money i would have a field day, turbo, maybe even a stage 2 with an engine build up, and you might still have enough for performance brakes (brembos, stop-tech, etc.) and slap on a kit and you'll be good to go.

coilover, tires, sway bars, strut bars, brake system... enough you to play around corners while you are waiting for the right timing of turbo'ing your car...
