hey, just had a quick question. is the white on the taillights just a reflector? can you red that out as well?

Those are your reverse lights. You can red them out,I've seen one or two people on the board do it, but you are covering up your reverse lights then. It's all a matter of it you think that's a good idea or not. :dontknow:

You can just put vinyl over it, but why? To attract cops? To look bad with that much red? To annoy drivers and potentialy cause a crash because the person behind stupidly ( :rolleyes: ) thinks that the solid read light is the brake light and doesn't anticipate you're going to back up?

Ricer. The brake lights are coloured like they are for a reason. Flashing amber is used for signals. Flashing red may also be used for signals. Solid red is used for braking. Dim red is used to say you're headlights are on. White is used for reverse.

ok, first off i completely forgot that they were for reverse. that was sa dumb question. secondly, what about smoking out the tail lights,ppl will still get the idea if its grey that your goining in reverse

Before you smoke tails, get some jdm headlights to go along with your honda badging. :D

headlights = go to DIY section, read the black out DIY post. MANY members have done it and it is cost effective and only takes about 1 day or so.

$125 isnt exactly what I call cost effective and it sounds to easy to mess up if you do it yourself.. ideas?

how exactly would you get the smoke effect anyway? i want it a bit darker than a color match so it looks smoked
