Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Installed in line with the brake light circuit. Microprocessors or relays allows the lights to flash and then constantly on. Some are adjustable. This is different than just a relay, b/c it stops flashing after a while.

I had this on my old car, but still contemplating on installing it in the RSX. If I do, it would only be for the 3rd brake light this time. The one I have is a Japanese module, and it uses a relay. The annoying part is that it clicks when the relays kick in, like the turn signals. The microprocessor would be silent.

Any opinions?

edit:

This unit seems compact and inexpensive:

When you step on the brakes. It goes steady after 1 second.

i guess your purpose for this would be a brake flashing warning for cars behind you eh? if it is, then i thnk its a pretty good idea, as some people fall asleep while driving and dont pay attention, would avoid many rearenders id say

Or they could be mesmerized by the flashing lights and forget to brake.
