View Full Version : replica ITR Spoiler vs JDM Spoiler
How can you tell the difference? I am looking to buy one for my car but i need a way to verify that it is real before I put money into it because replicas are cheap whereas JDMs are more expensive which i wouldn't mind paying for. I just dont want to pay the price of an authentic for a replica.
Thanks

Real one is ABS, that's all I can think of right now. lol
And most likely somewhere it might say Honda? haha, since ever part tends to have Honda & ABS stamped on it.

they look the same, and you couldnt tell unless you saw the padded area where the connection is made, that is where it says HONDA on the oem spoiler, so imagine its the same for the itr.... and no there arent any exterior/visible spots to know... so its up to you if yo must have authentic :spin:

i wouldn't mind having either authentic or replica.. its just i dont want to overpay on something i shouldn't have.

It doesn't make sense to me to get the authentic wing. The replica looks just as good IMO and costs a hell of a lot less. If you order a replica get it from trimking (you can find his info by searching). I have yet to see someone on this board that was disappointed with their trimking ITR wing.

yea i had a trimking replica and some1 ripped it off.... now i have an authentic itr since i found one for a great deal.
sitting side to side it was like night and day.
the paint on the fiberglass is wavy and has a kind of orange peel. paint on the itr is perfect.
the sound is different and the replica feels harder(and easier to crack)

excellent choice, you will come to realize, if you havent already, that the people on the boards here are the 1st choice when it comes to deciding what/which product to get!
CRSX boards have sooooo much knowledge on them.
