Since you live in the same city as I do, the best you can probably find in Toronto is Meguiar's products.
Many people recommend Zaino, Mothers, Klasse, 3M, Pinncale, Grand One, Zymol, 303 products, and P21S. Those brands all have good car care products, but I haven't been able to find those brands in Toronto stores. Even if you do, there will only be a few products.
If you can't find Meguiar's around Toronto, Eagle One or Mother's are also good and you should be able to buy in Toronto.

Reading through Zaino's website. they only offer polish. Does this protect as well as a good coat of wax, is it the same thing, different name. Damn all this cleaning stuff is confusing, to many options!

Look around on the net and your local stores. I found the Lexol for $.50 cheaper a bottle elsewhere on the net, but properautocare.com (Classic) had everything I wanted so I bought it there.
I'm sure if you do some searching you'll be able to save a little money. I use yahoo shopping (http://shopping.yahoo.com) a lot to find prices.

I've heard that Griots has really awesome products. They are pricey though, but used by people who show cars..
