I have the nose mask for the RSX...I should take this off before I wash the car right(duh)? Or should I wash it on the car and then take it off...any particular conditioner, etc. I should use on it?
TIA

Of course you should take off the mask before you wash the car, because dirt will get trapped inside the mask on the paint surface.
For the mask, I think you shuold wash it separately using your car shampoo. After wash, put the mast back on and put some vinyl & rubber protectants on it. Mask sure you spary the protectant on a cloth then wipe it on. If you spray directly onto your mask, it might get onto the paint surface.

you should reconsider having that mask on.
later on in the future your car will be two different shades of color because of your mask.
something that you might want to know.

also, i am not sure about the mask for acura, but the the mask for the comapy LeBra, says that if you use any kind of pertectant on it that it voids the warrenty of the mask. just to let you know :)

I don't think Acura has any rules about protectant use. Anyway, I'd recommend using 303 Aerospace Protectant on the mask. It won't block the pores of the fabric. This is important, as it ensures any moisture between the car and mask can escape. Of course, if the mask gets wet, you should take it off anyway and let it dry thoroughly before reinstalling.
I've always used a mask on my cars, and have never had a problem with discoloration. With the RSX, I've decided to only use it on long trips. I drove from PA to NH last weekend, and I know it saved my front end getting damaged by various flying debris.

Is it true that if you have the Front Underbody Spoiler installed you can no longer use the full mask?

Hmmm. Not sure, but my guess would be that it's true. It's quite a tight fit on the stock front end.

I have been told by Accura that it will not fit. They have no plans to make one for the underbody kit. I need one as I already have a couple of small nicks in the underbody kit from the freeway. I contacted LeBra and they might make one if there is a demand for one down the road. I am going to buy the stock one and have it modified by a car shop.

Yes, I definitely considered that.
However, since the mask is such a pain-in-the-ass to clean. I usually only put it on every 3rd or 4th time I wash it and then it's only on until the next time I wash it.
Same with the moonroof visor (although this is *not* a pain to deal with...just an annoyance :) )...I take that off to wash the car and usually don't put it back on for a while as I rarely drive with the moonroof open.
