A few Tint questions

Yeah I'm finnaly getting my car tinted this friday:)

I got quoted $130 for either 25-30% all around with a 5% strip on top of the windshield w/ lifetime warranty:thumbsup:

I forgot what the tint film the shop uses, but I know its global something:confused:

The guy said its metalized and not dye which is supposedly better? is it really?:dontknow:

For my dot matrix, I agreed to let them use some dark vinyl to cover it up from the inside*$20 extra*, which supposedly will blend perfectly with the tint and people would not even know its there. Has anyone else done this with the dot matrix?

hmm... i've seen it done... if they know what they are doing they can tint that area just fine

Global guard is the tint your getting i belive which is the same i got i did 20% all round n 5% top strip very impressed with tint quality so far. they tinted over my dot matrix just fine no problems im going back to them for some clear guard on my front of car now .

the tint will be fine with dot matrix, why spend the extra $20?

I got my dot matrix done, then i was told to come back a week after, so they could just touch up the dot matrix. It had dried up and they had to redo it over again. But i still haven't taken it back for a redo. Hopefully i can still get it done without getting recharged $$$.
