front windshield tinting

yea, i was wonderin if anyone here has tinted their front windshield? i was considering tinting mine, maybe 50% tint, i know its illegal, but ive seen people have it done, an i've asked them if they ever got pulled, and they havent, so yeah, any ideas

lancem has 35 or 20 on his windshield. it looks really nice, but imagine getting into a car accident where your windshield breaks; when the cop sees it, he'll definately blame you for not being able to see properly

yea but i didnt plan on tinting it too dark, 35 is pretty noticable, but im just thinking 50% if there is 50% tint

i have 35% and the only thing i dont like is at night you dont see as much as you use to thats all

be carefull 1 out of 10 windshields when getting tinted break(pops) 50% would look tight tho i did top strip 5% pretty low tho bout 7 inches or 9.

yeah that would be good idea. more sun block. just get the lighter one but nice brand so you don't get any problems later on....good luck

a doctor will only write you a note after they've examined you thoroughly. he ain't gonna put his name on a legally binding piece of paper unless he's sure about it.

yea thats what lance does. he has a doctor's note that qualifies as an affidavit for the state of louisiana stating he needs all his windows tinted because of his sensitivity to light. i think he has 20% on the windshield and 15% all around.. i forget

you gotta keep the paper in your car. i dunno what happens if someone else drives your car and they get pulled for it. but im pretty damn sure lance dont let anyone drive his beast heh

look at ANY car with tints from the front quarter angle, u can CLEARLY see the front window stands out like a sore thumb against even my 40% side window tints

If you have a wreck and the adjustor comes to look at your car and sees ANY tint whatsoever then he can refuse to pay due to the fact that you restricted your vision. I left mine with the legal 6 inch strip.

My friend who tints never had this problem. He has tinted 10 of my friends windshields and many others.
