05+ Type R Guage Cluster

does anyone know where to get the 05+ type r guage cluster? there is a difference between the newer one and the older one, does anyone know where to get the newer version at? if so how much

i dont know how to post pics yet, but the best i can describe it is that on the older version the face of the gauges looks silver, and the type r is the same color as the numbers and stuff. on the 05+ i believe the face is white and the type r is different color than all the numbers and stuff. the type r is black and the R is red without it being illuminated. go to the jdm website and you can see it there.

the difference is just like 02-04 to 05-06. to me, 05-06 looks cleaner. Anyway, i believe there is none out there on the market yet. Im still waiting for one

btw, 02-04 and 05-06 are not interchangeable due to different harness

im guessing that everything else would fit right its the same design just its different color. i hope it fits, but maybe it will only work for the new models. i didnt know the harness was different ill ask my guy about it he will know,he says he can get them so ill see.

how do you install one since theres no bezel around our cluster?

ive posted like 3 times the same topic..never going to find em. guess gotta wait till people start wrecking them or something. wts the deal?? i want em'

to install them u just go underneath the steering wheel and lok up and ull see two screws around where the cluster is, u unscrew them and the reach ur and up and push it out. i gently used the dimmer knob to pull it out and kinda wiggle it out. if u pull to hard ull pull the knob off, it can be put back on. once u get it u just un plug it and then plug the new one in
