Damn thats crazy because when I first bought my car I had the same set up skunk2 it was low dont get me wrong but nuthin like yours.. and about the full coilover system I was the same way.. i was asking aroung like crazy about how the drop on them are.. any finally some one told me that Buddy Club and Teins go low.. so I just purchased the Tein Basic Damper bout 2 weeks ago and its as low as I had my car with the skunk2's so I was glad about that..but Damn your car looks fuckin good!!!! :thumbsup: also what kind of lug nuts do you have..?

In my opinion replicas are better than the real thing. Simply because the offset is perfect, that, and they also weigh 17lbs (by what I saw on the Post Offices scale). Of course this thread isn't about what weighs the least and what the offset should be. It's more about how thick of a spacer did you use, and don't worry about how that adds more weight. Afterall, it's JDM yo, everything is better when it's JDM, even when it doesn't fit your car properly and you've defeated the purpose of what it was made for, lightness. Other than that, the cars with the right offset on this thread have some good looking wheels, and if you're wheels weigh more than they should, that's too bad for you. Cars with worse offset than stock, I feel sorry for you.

PS. I had JDM wheels on my car but got rid of them because I was going to spend 2 grand for the suspension to go with them, then said never mind, and the offset sucked otherwise :thumbsdow

it is not required.. but ITR wheels offset is 60..
stock 45.. u need to match to stock looking by getting 15mm
or u can get 25mm for looking/handling wise..
wheels spacer needed depends what u want w/ the rim and looking.... u king noob? :D

The bigger the offset the more shoved in the wheels look/are. So, 60 offset is further in than the stock 45. Difference is 15, so you need a 15 to get back to where it is stock. Although, a larger spacer of 25 will push them out more and look nicer, although put more stress on your suspension. I had spacers on a car in the past and I went through rear knuckles every 6mo's, so be cautious.
The reason the ITR offset is such is because they are made for having more hardware between them and the body of the car (i.e. brembo brakes).

Replicas, I believe have a 30 offset, as if you had the nicest looking set of spacers.

Bad Offset
Wheels are sucked in near the inside of your wheel well.
Due to the wheels being so sucked in, the wheels will rub the inner wheel well in the rear in certain drops.
Weighs more due to needing a spacer betwen the hub and wheel
Can cause additional unnecessary stress to the hub and axles due to the spacer. Down the road this may cause damage to bearings and other suspension components.
Needs $2000 ITR suspension to properly make use of what they were made for.
Pricing is outrageous, but some believe it's OK (like TeamBC who doesn't speak English very well, it's OK though people are welcome to their own opinions)
There have been incidences where these wheels have been stolen, and some cars have also been entirely stolen. These are a theft magnets if you know what I'm saying.

I am using the rays extended lug nuts and I haven't had any problems yet. But I am also running aftermarket blox extended studs to accompany these extended lugs. I am selling the lugs because I am not really feeling the extended look. I am gonna be buying the shorter ones.

When i run my stock wheels, i run a 25mm spacer int eh front and a 5 mm in the rear.. handles awesome, and to me looks better than have hte rears so far out when you drive a FF..

yea you can run em without spacers, u might get a little knockin when taking sharp turns tho.

You need 15mm spacers for it to sit at the same offset as it does on the ITR. You can run them without spacers but it looks really sunk into the wheel well and not very attractive at all.
