im looking at some 17 x 17.5 with a 45 mm offset in gunmetal black with a polished lip. How are these wheels? weight? durability? ect... is the offset too much? to wide? will i rub?

ive heard mostly heard good things about slips. they are super light, i think 17s are like 16 lbs and you get a lot of bang for your buck. im not sure about fitment though but i no they are popular and inexpenive.
im ordering mine tongiht but im getting 16x7s.

slipstreams are lighter then that...16s are 13.5lbs so 17s are not 19lbs

ihave them in 16", got them flat black and now are a custom gunmetal. I love them, lightweight, and so far strong, held up to all the abuse Ive thrown at them.
Alas they are comingoff my car, cause Ithe spacers needed to clear my big brake kit,a nd the fact I need dedicated snow tires now.

I had the 16x7 gunmetal with polished lip on my 3rd gen integra. They're freakin' fantastic. I held them straight out with 2 fingers. light as fuck. 13.5lbs. Love them babies! good choice!

I doubt the 17x7.5 or 17x8's are any heavier than 15 or 16lbs.

i got mine from subydude.com
they didn't have what i want listed on their site, so i called and they got them for me regardless, i even told them that another site had them for the same price, shipped, so they dropped shipping for me as well, GREAT company to do business with

Will different offsets make the weight change?
I was thinking of getting slipstreams 17x8 +35 off set. (im guessing its gonna be around 20 lbs since its between the two.)

I have slips in those specs, just no the color, Notice the diffence between the 16 and smaller Slips compared to the 17 and larger, its a slightly differnt design around the lug holes. the tire size on mine are 217/15/17

So can anyone confirm the weight of 17x8 slipstreams? Is that flat black on the EP?

just stick w/ stock, 17" slips are pointless...the only point of them is that they are light and they lose their looks in 17" form

Yep, slips only look good in 15 or 16s.....17s look "too big"
