I fucked up when washing the car...banged the bottom half of the passenger door on my S with the hose which was bad enough, but it left some dirt on the door which I promptly dragged across the paint. Didn't even see the damage (5 nice scratches from the five pressure points on my fingers) until I dried the car off. Damn it...I always always always rinsed each section of car before I soaped it up (even after the initial rinse), but I didn't do it consistently that day and paid the price.
One of the scratches has some depth, but I don't think it has penetrated the clearcoat.
Is there some sort of filler a body shop uses to fix this or does the whole area need to be taken off an repainted?
Two fucking weeks old...I'm handling it pretty well though...you can't see most of the damage until you're up close.
