Common man! :) I like the MS6... I own one for christ's sake. No need to be so defensive though. A MS6 won't be side by side with a STi... maybe for a little bit but it won't hang long, however, the MS6 is a much more enjoyable car to drive. It isn't a freaking race car like the STi. No im not basing it on one car bro. Our dealerships here are linked by one company. Continental, and the Subaru, Honda/Acura, and Mazda dealership are right next to each other. Needless to say I'm not impressed with their cars at Mazda after test driving them and reviewing them. Only Subaru and Honda/Acura. The reason for pointing out the Rx-8 is because I loved the FC and FD so much and expected alot from the new generation. And it turned out to be a let down sadly. Because to me it is one sexy looking car.. but oh well...to each their own.. I'm not gunna be a type of person who's gunna say one is better than another and just stomp my foot on it. I will have my personal preferences with people having different views. It's why different manufactures are out on the market. Theirs pretty much a car for everyone. yanno? The car Speed6 is not even the same class vehicle. FWD to AWD. I like to see which performs better on snow and dirt. If I want a FWD sorry, but I'm going for the Type-S on that one.

2 tell u the truth i do think the 05+ STi's are faster than the first year 04 STi's. A buddy of mine has a 04 STi and the best he went was 13.8@99mph. My other buddy has a 05 STi and he went 13.5@101mph!! same track different days same weather condition both excellent driver's. The only difference is the 04 is White and the 05 is Blue, might be the color....lol

the reason 93 is the 'bests' as you put it, is because it is fucking required for the car to run properly. if you have anything less, a computer will throw a sensor and drop power to reduce the chance of detonation.
