It's on the Special Features of the DVD set, the Season 6 Prequel. And he doesn't look weak. He looks tough. He was hangin' tough. For 7 months, according to the prequel, he endured torture at the hands of the Chinese and didn't say a damn word.

I don't agree with that. With the promos they have been running on TV, it looks more like the government is going to start using him as their little watch dog and put him in all sorts of dangerous situations to get what they want.

My prediction: When 24 finally "ends", Jack Bauer will die. The show may not go on (or it may) and we'll find that Jack has been helping whoever takes his place without their knowledge of who he his, and then we'll find that he's alive and meaner than ever.

Actually, I think they were really mercenaries hired by the Chinese, but I'm sure the US government had to realize he talked. If those guys were hired by the US to determine if Jack was a liability, the Chinese would've waxed them for sure.

I watched the prequel on YouTube and it was a shitty quality version.. did Jack nod his head in agreement? Man I have a feeling this season is going to be crazy. Every 2nd season usually ends up being better than it's predecessor.. (season 2 and season 4). Hopefully the trend will continue!

on the season 5 dvd's special features, there is a season 6 prequel

it doesn't show much, basically Jack being tortured to tell the chinese who is a traitor to the Chinese government, they show Jack two pictures and try to make him tell them which one, he doesn't

then Jack gets broken out of prison by two guys, they take him to a clearing and one of the guys from the photos comes down, jack nods to him and the chinese army pops out of the woods, the guy that was interagating Jack says "thanks" and blows the guy away.
