Honestly "28 Days Later" is behind only "Dawn Of the Dead" for my favroite zombie movie. Both really well done, and yes I consider "the infected" to be zombies.

I think "28 Weeks Later" was announced a few months after the release of "28 Days Later", and it is still in post-production. It makes me skeptical if it will ever be made.

The movie does not really need a sequel, especially one with an all new cast and the new fairly inexpierenced director. The plot actually does not sound all that interesting either, kind of makes the whole film pretty predictable what will happen up until the last scene. I would feel so much more comfortable if Danny Boyle was still in charge.

^I'd havta say that 'Horror Express' was one of the best 'zombie' movies I've seen. It was freaky when I saw it as kid. Needs a remake since it came out in the early 70s though.

That scene made me cringe for like 4 weeks after seeing it. Definitely could have left that part out. But I can't wait for this one, I love zombie movies!! CANT FUCKIN WAIT

Saw the trailer for it a long while ago and I personally THINK that movie will be full of cheese. 1st part was "ok" and 2nd part had cheesey ass choreography and lines. Of course I may be wrong but I'm just assuming at this point in time LOL.

I'd say you can. I saw the original in theatres and haven't seen it since, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Plus, they give you a brief run-through of the events that occurred in the first movie at the beginning, so that you're not completely in the dark.

Ya, better than the 1st movie. Lots of 'bloopers' though, like why wasn't the mom under guard? How did the zombie dad figure out how to leave the room? Why the hell did they wanna resettle the UK when they haven't completely sanitised everything? Etc etc etc. (Well, there'd be no movie I guess, but wish they had a better explanation.)

But I can see what you mean. A lot of things just conveniently happened, such as the guards being completely absent from where they should have been. But as far as the super strength thing goes...I'd liken that almost to someone on a PCP high where they feel no pain.

Just saw this, have to say its probably in my top 3 fave zombie movies of all time. I really enjoyed the score to the movie as the scenes got really tense. Its worthy of my collection.

i'm going to bump this one 'cause i just saw it. god, was i the ony one who couldn't stand the two main characters -- the boy and the girl? don't get me wrong, english accents are hot, but fuck that girl was so fucking annoying and same goes for that medical doctor too (glad that bitch died too, that's what she gets for yelling for no reason)

i can't say the movie was great. i don't quite remember the first one to compare to this one but i guess it was alright. better than watching hills have eyes and their weird mutant rape scene.
