I just had an experience that made me dislike downtown Vancouver living more than ever. Sure, the condos look nice, and your friends all think your a millionaire, but you quickly find out that the paintwork in all the apartments is sub-standard, everything leaks, drafts, or creeks, the neighbours below are always smoking pot (gross smell), and the neighbours above are deciding the saxophone is a good instrument to learn at midnight.

But what really REALLY ticked me off last night was a leak in the parking lot. And it dripped on my RSX-S!
It's not just a leak though, it's passing through the concrete, so it's a drip of dissolved concrete, kinda like a watery clay.
I'm moving out this month, so I really don't care if the foundation is leaking and the building implodes later.

This weird jelly clay goop wiped off the trunk just fine, no stain, no mess (probably since the trunk is metal); and most of it came off the bumper, but it left a thin top layer that I just can't get off! I've tried using a sponge and carwash soap, but it just stays there. I'm thinking about using a high pressure hose in that specific area, but I'm not sure if that will work.

Does anyone have tips on removing a dissolved concrete / water goop mixture from a plastic bumper?

You could try using a clay bar (like Mothers for example). Works really well in removing ground in dirt and grime from the paint. I've bought the clay bar...make the paint REALLY smooth.

I got it out by covering the surrounding area and using vinegar on the stain.
The protection package claims that you can spill battery acid on the car without damaging it, so I don't think that vinegar will do any harm.

I tested it on a bit of the goop that had dripped on the floor first and it bubbled off, it was really kinda cool. And it made my car smell like it was fresh out of a Fish and Chips joint.

What color is your car? i have a similar problem on my fender trim. The day i pick up the car from the dealer I noticed a layer of tar or some kind of black oily stuff on 4 of my fender trim. I think it has to do something with the new pavement there and it spun from my tire to my fender trim. I tired to wipe it off but it left a yellow stain on my fender trim around the plastic bumper. Like you mentioned it didn't stay on the metal part but stayed on the plastic area. I tried using rubbing compound but had no success. I'll try to use vinegar tomorrow to see if I can take it off. Do you have to use alot of vinegar to get it off and rub it really hard?
