Pilsner, its the best beer to bring to parties because its too gross for most people to want to drink so I don't have to worry about anyone taking beer from me, and once your already drunk your taste buds don't really function too well anyway.

If I am out at the bar I will start the night off well and the first 3 or 4 beers will be half decent, Stella, Rickards Red those are typically the best ill find outside of a liquor store...after that its all down hill

Old ass thread but I'm going to chime in and say that all beer found in the west is shit. Czech beer is by far the cleanest, best tasting and most enjoyable beer I've ever had.

Guiness is very thick, hence one of it's nicknames, "pork chop in a can". You should try Smithwick's. It's made by the Guiness corp. It's a dark ale (Ireland's oldest) but nowhere near as bitter and harsh as Guiness.

Guiness is a stout, of course its going to be thick. But there are thicker beers out there.
Try an oatmeal stout for a really thick beer - its like a meal in a glass.

Some good Guiness combos are the Half and Half, half Guiness and half Smithwicks and the Black & Tan, half Guiness and half Harp lagerand the Philly Black & Tan, half Guiness and half Yuengling lager.

I had a bottle of the 120 min the same night as the Sam Adams Triple Bock which is like 17% ABV. 2 beers with about the same alcohol as 7-9 beers. :thumbsup:

I've a got a pint bottle of the Chateau Jihau that I'm really eager to try but am saving for a special occasion. Yuengling is by far one of my favs. Cheap as hell too around here cause we're like 2 hours from the brewery.
Their Black and Tan brew is damn good too.

Yards is another good brewery. Located right in Philly. They make some damn good stouts and ales. Their Love stout is amazing. Perfect winter beer.

I get all my stuff from 1 beer distributor, because they give me discounts and I reccommend people there all the time

Oh I know keystone is shitty, but I'm never been to a college kegger with something different (except one time there was bud light wOooOoo). I've had good beer all over the world and it kills me to come back to watery shit like Keystone and Natty, but for poor college kids--we just have to deal with it. We typically drink miler light as our regular beer of choice and Leine's when we feel like it, but for $50 a keystone keg can't be beat.
