Ok.. i don't know much about suspension. First, I am now overly happy with the handling as it stands. I want the car to not only be a little firmer, but also give more feedback in turns and me more steady. For example, if I turn agressivley now, I feel this sort of see-saw yawing feeling.

I was planning on H&R springs, but would it do me good to get new shocks?

Also, what is the diffence between struts and shocks... would getting coilovers also mean i should get new shocks, or are they one in the same?

I do plan to autocross now and then.

a strut/shock (in my terms) is basically the same thing. a strut/spring combo is referred to as a coilover. most of the coilovers on the market are adjustable, and already come with a strut/spring from the manufacturer. or if you dont want to be like the rest of the crowd, you can make your own coilover set by purchasing struts and springs of your choice. for example, getting Koni yellow adjustable struts and swift springs.

sorry for the bump, I was searching through google instead of the forums search option... didn't even think to look at the date.
