$25 is usually the lowest I go but that night I just played the cash. Just think about if you played $25 hands and won the same number of hands as you did when you played $5. It just depends on what you're willing to risk and what your budget is. $50 I could win in a matter of 1-2 hands. I could also lose $50 though. You could bet small, and win/lose small. You could bet big, and win/lose big. Even though I'm down a thousand last month, I would say I'm about even this year. There were a couple nights I've won big and a couple nights I walked away with nothing but I had fun doing it.

I got pwned last night too.. i had like ace 10 or something and 10 king king flopped.. another (only had like $4 on the table) and the one guy that showed a few times that he was bluffing bet like a $1 so I called, next card another King.. ooh I have a full house now.. he bet another $1 I raised it to $2 and he went all in.. of course I called and he had the other king :).

Overall last night I lost maybe $12 tops.. before I went to bed (listed in the thread) I did pretty well.

i've finished in the money in my last 5 tourneys... 1 first, 3 2nds and 1 3rd.

before that i was playing like shit, trying to outsmart myself and getting frustrated when i wasnt getting any cards. gotta be patient and no when to make your moves, and it helps when you play with the same people over and over... you learn how they play and how to read them. apparently i'm not easy to read :dontknow:.

i logged 76 hands in poker tracker playing NLHE and got KK 3 times....i prob have played less than 2 hours total on full tilt and am already up 150%....every site ive ever joined seems to be the same song and dance, immediately after sign up you go on an unbelievable heater for a few days....just seems kinda fishy....

nah...people like to think that. most online players are noobs who can't fold. that's how i stay up. most people can't fold AAs or higher and most people don't realize they're beat. i've been winning consistently at the casino and online. i switched to fulltilt from bodog, bcuz bodog takes forever to pay out.

If you've played for any real period of time, you should know how up and down the game is. Swings in both directions are capable of being HUUUGE. I've played on a ton of different sites (20+), and even then my sample size is tiny. It's coincidence.

Talk about bad beat. I had a couple of miracles that happened yesterday at the casino.

1. KK goes all in, then AA goes all in, and then I go all in with my AK both hearts. Probably 160ish on the pot Q J 10 flops and junk junk. I cant believe I dodged Cowboys and Rockets at the same hand and flopped a straight.

2. A K both hearts goes all in, then J 10 diamonds go all in. I was short stacked and I go all in for 40 bucks with pocket 3s. Flop was A K Q giving them both decent hands. Straight and 2 Pair. Turn was a 3 which was just a big tease for me and river was another 3. The guy with the straight was so pissed!

ok so i got in a 20 dollar buy in tourney style today with 7 guys including myself...

i play tight all night and i watch there styles.. noone ever raises the blind more then 1/2 the blind was 25/50 so i hit pocket kings and raise the blind 200 thinking i can clean out the runners.. 3 people call.. im like wtf nubes! the river hits 4 6 8 all off suit. so i bet 400 and they 2 call one folds.. im thinking wtf ok. so the next card is a 8 and from my read the guys was playing a straight so i checked to see his bet. he bets 200 so i think i got the call right. i call that 200 other guy folds.. then the last card is a 2.. he bets 400 i call.. he had a damn 8 /7 off suit and played like that? seriously i hate stupid players more then good players.. after that i was short stacked so i played tight till i hit k/q suited and went all in ... and lost to 6/8 off suit lol


but im going to vegas sept 12/13th and stayin at the mgm to get some real shit going.. i like money games more then tourney style.. i can rebuy and see how people play if i get beat.. no big deal i have yet to lose in a casino
