damn hookah noobs. i consider myself a hookah enthusiest and pioneer. i'll tell you this, al fakher brand shisha is probably the best available. i have tried starbuzz as well, but did not like it as much. there is also al fakher gold brand, which is more expensive and even better. as far as the waterpipe itself, Mya saray is the best. i have two mya sarays and only smoke al fakher. one of the best mixes is white grape and mixed fruit al fakher 1:1 ratio, pinched and fluffed into the bowl a little over the top. the hole pattern and charcoal is important too. if you can, natural is always better then that synthetic easy light shit.

i've had a different experience, i've found that setting up was rather easy and only took some research online and advice from my local hookah bar.

the majority of people that dont know much about it, have simply never been exposed to it, i've found.

but most love it once you get them to try it.

i have done a good bit of research on pipes and shisha and have been to a few hookah bars and been to the local smoke shops. i want to do it right. The pipe i am ordering is a Mya as danieRRrr has stated is a good pipe. I have been told that a good Shisha is also Layalina as well as al fakher.

once you get your pipe set up right and a good even heat( which seems to be the key) the hookah is better to smoke.

this is my hookah... well it's my family's. it's from the middle east, so its pretty damn nice (since thats where hookahs originate from and whatnot).

double apple is the best tobacco for the hook IMO. self lighting coals are also the best and easiest to use.

quick lites have added chemicals for easy lighting and keeping it hot etc. most if not all (even the ones that claim against it) give off odors and alter the taste (not in a good way). they dont last as long and depending on the type of charcoal, the ash it gives off sucks too

Well anyways, best flavors I have had are Mint with Blueberry or Mint with Strawberry. Also Winterfresh is awesome.

Best brand of tobacco is Starbuzz, shit is expensive but so worth it. And well best coals are those wooden ones, they last a long time and don't get harsh really.

Yea Starbuzz is good and pretty expensive.

Tangiers is pretty good and gives a nice buzz
Al Fakher, Layalina, Nakhla are good too

I'll have to pick some of that up. I've found that the biggest buzz comes from Al-Waha, but their flavor selection is kind of low.

yea they dont have much to choose from. Romman is very good and under rated often. Nakhla has a wide selection of flavors but not the best. Tangiers gives you a strong buzz. Very strong and not for the average smoker.

Also if you haven't tried this yet , you need to get a phunnel bowl. OMG the best flavor and smoke ever . Make sure you get it with the Scallis mod.

yes it is a Mya Bambino. very nice piece and smokes very well. I ordered mine from Hookah-life.com. Very please with it. I got the Mya QT first and didnt like it and sent it back to get the Bambino.

Bough it from a local market. It came with the case for $25 or something, not bad. It's small but smokes rather well, my favorite flavor is probably white grape. I really need to start using it more, haven't smoked for some time...

My friend has quite a few nice ones. But he tends to break them all, then mis matches hoses, vases and heads, disasterous really. Calls himself an "expert" too, :shakehead

You can smoke inside, and it doesnt reek, we usually smoke outside.

Hookah is much smoother than other tobacco smoke, as the tobacco is only heated, and not burned, to create the smoke. Also, the water filtration calms the smoke down a great deal as well. The flavors taste great, and hookah is a great social occasion, so that just makes it prime for sitting back and relaxing.

most people do it socially, its great if you want to get a group of friends and just chill. plus it tastes great, gives you a nice little buzz, and you can do a shitload of cool smoke tricks.

Yes it was very good times. It is so nice to have people come over and pack a bowl of your favorite shisha or a new shisha to try out. I don't smoke every night but i like to a least a couple times on the weekends. Hookah smoke actually smells pretty good when you smoke. Doesn't smell up your place.

The bambino is nice. I own one as well. My favorite hookah is my new one from JandRhookah. It is the best hookah I have purchased.

so do these mya auto seals work while 2 or more hoses are connected, so that only one person can drag, and the others are closed off if not being used? My 2 hose is open, so you have to cover the hose, or you dont get any pressure in the bowl to draw smoke.

Yes, the auto seal works just like that. you don't have to cover or plug one hose. It automatically seals the port of the opposite hose that is not being used.

just a bag of wood chunks (mesquite, hickory, etc) from the bbq aisle in the grocery store. set the fire, wait for the wood to coal up, and enjoy. I never realized how much of the charcoal flavor makes it in the smoke until i switched.

i usually use three king coals! i like them the best, there is this other kind which is a lot bigger and lasts like 50% longer, but i forget the name

as for tabacco el-fakher is the best brand out there IMO, always mix anything with mint! usually strawberry, cherry, double apple, grape, apricot, banana!!! the thing is i don get light headed anymore, but its chillin!

i like al fahker as well, but i just came across romann shisha, its amazing, we get at least an hour and a half from each bowl, we usually end up needing a second fire for more coal. The flavor never changes as well, and the smoke is really dense
