Based on a Stephen King novel, the film looks amazing. John Cusak IMO was perfectly cast for the leading role. I just hope the movie stays away from the typical horror cliches. A very promising looking trailer though, can't wait to see it.

more mental then the average slasher flick. also dont mind john cusack movies. also are there going to be snakes in the room, considering samuel l. jackson is in the movie.

movie was scary. definitely one of the creepier, scarier films in current years.
the first half, particularly, was very scary.... mood, everything was great. second half got a little hokey but still good.

Speaking of creepy movies, I saw the Sixth Sense on TV the other day. That shit was eerie. It had been so long, I forgot how good it was. Anyone else catch it? (Not trying to thread-jack or anything.)

Jon Cusak is an awesome actor and Steven King movies usually blow harder than a nickle whore working for a dollar, so there is no telling where this movie will end up. I refused to pay for any more scary movies after the last 30 I went to that ALL sucked donkey dick.

i liked the movie and i was dumb enough to see it twice. 2nd time was just as good.

Wow.. it was pretty damn good.. not because of the visual effects.. but holy shit man.. the sound was NICE. They really took advantage of Dolby Digital eh?
One girl was crying and had to walk out midway into the movie! alot of people were screaming lol.. My friend and sis were with me.. and my sis covered her ears because the sound was so intense.. I love the string music too maann talking about crunchy.
I just read the cliffs to the actual story though.. it doesn't really line up to the movie.. they kinda overdid the movie.. but it makes sense.. Atleast it stayed in the 1.5 hour mark.. unlike all the other extremely long movies.. It gave itself a nice hit and the movie ended.
So what exactly is the room.. I don't get it.. At first I thought it was haunted because of the owner.. but then it's not.. so confused.. the most fucked up part was def when he thought he was out.. and it fux with him. I don't get how lighting the place on fire with not a selfish act.. as he was saying... don't get it..
