I know there is a lot of threads on this but i wanted to start a new one. Im planning on painting my front grill myself. I dont want to take it to a shop and deal with that. Im going to get some spray paint, primer, and clear coat and just do it. Is there any tips or anything for me? Has anyone done this with a spray can and if so is there pics? i have a pwp so im going to try and find a white that is as close match to it as i can. Any feedback would be great.

All I know is sometimes shops have a hard time matching PWP so your chances of finding a good looking match are slim to none.... Honestly, I wouldnt do it. I'd save the $$ and take it to a decent shop that knows what they're doing... you'll be MUCH happier with the results and it can't cost too much money since its such a small piece.

just a little feedback....

i know a lot of people who did it themselves.. get your paint code, take it to a paint shop and have them mix it and put it in a spray can for you

Not the honey comb looking plastic stuff behind it, only the parts that are black that connect to the emblem and the bumper, Look at a type R and you will see.

Take it to a shop.
I had it done to my 02 NBP. Cost me 75 bucks to do it. Alittle on the pricey side but it was worth it. It looked so sick.
