Yes, the Mustang is still in the same condition it was two months ago. I also recently wrecked the Focus as well. My license is currently suspended due to 9 points. My last ticket I got was in April of '07, but they finally decided to suspend it for 30 days starting on Christmas Eve of all days. I now have an '04 Dodge Stratus as my DD. I had just bought it two days before receiving a notice about my license. I do however have a plan for the Mustang. Once restored it will have a complete Roush kit with side exhaust and have a vortech supercharger installed as well. I'm keeping the nitrous :noes:

So at some point this year, I should most definitely have a single digit car. Eventually...

A 2.0 liter on 19.5 psi is not a 2.0 liter. And, as Mach said, beating a stock 96-98 GT is something 99% of the cars on the road can do.

They need to be lowered/have the Ford Racing Suspension on them...They have pretty solid torque and giddyup for a stock car, people (albeit rarely) have gone low 13's with stock ones, though mid 13's is more common.

I parked in a sloped spot last night and was backing out when a car shot out behind me all of a sudden, causing me to step on the clutch. The car rolled forward into a steel divider in front of the parking spot with a nice *CRUNCH* noise.....:run:

The aftermath was a nice bright, white scrape mark a foot long and an inch tall across the nose. :noes:

After 9 passes with my buffer and various chemical/pad combos, plus a coat of wax, the nose is MINT except for some nearly invisible hairline scratches here....

I think I saved myself a few hundred bucks in body shop fees...A couple years of detailing will give you the confidence to attempt a repair on some pretty ugly blemishes I suppose....:weeeeeeeeee:

well we had to bring the rsx to fit the board and gear inside. the evo rear seats don't fold down :(

So the caliber srt-4 makes about 300fwhp w/ just a turbo-back exhaust (gained 37whp. :noes:)

Then you have the DCR CSRT w/ 332whp with fuel/tune/wga.

The average joe should still be able to manage 360~380whp+. This thing gonna be another highway queen. Although DCR is supposed to come out w/ a brake kit that will fit 15in rims for slicks (stock brakes only good for rims 18in+)..

I like the powertrain a lot but with AWD the car would have much more potential. Hell on the dyno the 332hp one made 385lb-ft a little after 3500rpm (traction = 404 Not found). The damn thing is running some small motorcycle slicks and spinning them like regular street radials. I think on the latest one the DCR one did 12.5@117 w/ a 35shot.

Sounds like you've got a similar set-up as a guy where I work. He's got a "cammed slammed and stalled" LS1 T/A. Think he ran an 11.9/11.9 @ around 113~114 w/ a slipping tranny.

Ya, from what I've seen stalled auto's usually are way down in mph....but are right there, if not faster than a stick with the same mods with E.T. It's ok though, final plan is to drop a t-56 in. I'll have more fun on the street and will cost the same....if not less...than putting in a built auto with a new, bigger converter. The whole double overdrive is nice too.....4.56 gears and still getting decent mileage on the highway, lol.

I didn't want to steal the other thread, so I figured I would take the time to put this together for everyone. I purchased a HID kit from HERE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-XENON-CONVERSION-KIT-H1-H4-H7-H11-9005-9006-9007_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ36476QQihZ016QQite mZ260199381656QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW) and installed in about 3-4 weeks ago. Fitment was great, all plug and play and a 1 year warranty to boot! Used H11 for my low beams and 9005 for my foglights. Pictures really suck because they were taken with my Verizon Voyager phone (2 MP i think), but they are alot brighter in person.

I do recommend you get some extra caps for the back of your headlamps so you can save your stock ones (as I did). You will have to cut a hole on them. The kit comes with rubber grommets provided, which was another plus about the kit!

As you can see, the cutoff is not the greatest with stock projectors, but I have adjusted the beams accordingly. I am also lowered about an inch in the front on drop springs.

NA cams still work pretty decent with a blower.. not so much with a turbo.. the overlap may actually fry the turbo. :noes:

Ya, similar setups have seen around 700hp on pump gas. Then you have the few that make it to the 800 mark on pump gas. (usually with the F1A, that thing is huge, like sucking in small children huge, lol).
