Got the Nitto's a day early. Went out tonight and did a quick dig vid on the street. Traction is great, helluva lot better than the street tires.

Nice, I love mine as well though I'm back to my stock tires for the winter. What size did you get? I have 305/45/18.

It's 100 on my car, they'll last about 10k miles depending on how many burnouts you do.:)

So you're going to rock these bishes on the street?

I've used them for 3k miles so far, they're off for the winter but once the weather warms back up and the drag strips open up I'll have them back on. They're really not that bad in the rain either, though I wouldn't recommend them for bad weather use compared to a street tire. I will be cutting 1.6 60's with them this Spring so they definitely hook up well.

Big cam, bolt on's, stalled converter. No juice. No boost. Stock 3.23 gears + 6800 rpm shift point (stock was 6000) allow me to hit just over 90 mph in 2nd. Nitto's will last on average around 12,000 miles.....not my DD so I don't care, got tired of losing traction hitting 1/4 throttle on my street tires. Yes, I agree M/T are better, but I needed a DR to do double duty....track and street. Since M/T's are good for about 5,000 miles or so....I went with the Nitto's and so far I'm really happy. We'll see how she does on the 19th at the track.

HP has NOTHING to do with how fast you go in a certain gear... :dontknow:

Huh? I was just explaining how I'm hitting 90mph in 2nd gear (something the rsx boys aren't used to, lol). It has to do with my long, stock gearing and that I'm running 800 more rpm in each gear now.

meh, Nitto's are just slightly stickier than a good hard tire.......nothing to compare to MT's.
