93' 328 vs RSX-S

Last night was my first 'real' race with my new setup so I made sure it was a worthwhile opponent. My buddy has a white rsx-s with some decent mods. Its beat some modded e36 m3s and cars along those lines.

Our first run we started from ~45. As I shifted into 3rd gear I began to creep away. The same thing happened when I shifted into 4th. When we shutdown his front bumper was at my door. Overall a pretty close race.

The next two runs were from a 60ish roll in 3rd gear. The identical result occured. Both of us have traction issues right now but we will run from a stop eventually.

LOL. Your knowledge of bimmers is lacking so I will break it down for you..

The M3 motor is nothing more then a bored out 2.8L. M3s make around 205rwhp stock.

With the mods I have, 210-215rwhp isn't anything special.

M52 + bolt ons = 200whp. M52 + bolt ons + obd1 swap = 210'ish, maybe more. Throw gears in there... ;)

I had a 323is, for the stupid, that's an M52tu25 (a 2.5L m52, not the 2.8L the t/s has), I had i/e/midpipe/3.23's and ran 14.1, new owner ran 14.2 AFTER a hydrolock, and launching w/ traction control on.
