Sorry God. To the Average person, an accord is fast. My parents dont track there car, its driven year round. For its purpose, its fast and full of luxary. i know it would take a mclaren f1 to pull on a kproed rsx, but um...if you are tuned right you should be just as quick as an 08 V6 accord...probably quicker

I killed a 04 Tibby V6 5spd I/E in a 03 Civic SI with I/RH/E. Tibby's are slow!! I'd say the 00 Tibby's vs the new V6 tibby's would be a drivers race. Those 140HP tibby's had quite a little bit of zip to them, nothing special though

The problem with most of the cars in this segment(Spec V, 2g/3g eclipse, GTi, RSX-S, Civic Si, Tiburon GT)is that stock for stock...they aren't all that different in straight line speed. Sure some are faster than others but until you start modding most races are almost a drivers race.

Not sure how that relates to the RSX vs Accord topic but....whatev.

Yeah that makes sense, but I think stock for stock there's a huge difference. I was in for service during the summer (mind you my tib just had an intake then) and I test drove a new 07 4 banger and it felt slow as hell

Quicker than what the Si or 00 Tibby's. My friend had one and he ran a 15.8@89mph, I'm not saying they can pull on one on the freeway, but in a short distance race from roll or 1/4mile. I can vouche that a properly driven 00 Tibby can hang with the 04-05 V6 tibby's. Nothing really special about them
