raced a mustang gt last night @ the 1/8th mile*yeah i know 1/8th mile sucks ass, closest 1/4 mile is 200 miles away:thumbsdow*

i love it though when every now and then an asshole looks over at you condescendingly or shakes his head or tries to say something funny thinking he's hot shit, and then when he loses zooms by you with warp speed after the race has ended just so you cant see his stupid ass face:laughat:

not to thread jack or anything, but i met this douchebag at a long stretch of road a while ago, he was in a mustang gt with cobra r bumpers and what not...looks over at me with a smirk:

- " looks pretty clean, ill bet its fast"
- "wanna test just how fast?"
-"sure"
-"but we have to go from a roll, cause i get no traction in 1st two gears, its called torque"

so we roll out and i signal for him to go when he wants to go....that fucker got it up to 40, 60, 75 and finally decides to punch it thinking he'll kill me at high speeds:rolleyes:
needless to say, afer he's a full 2 cars ahead i punch it and in a couple seconds am going past him at a much higher speed....decided to let off cause at that point it was useless to go any faster, his shit was way too slow..

-"yeah, i missed a gear"
-"what gear did you start in HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH"

he gives me a scowl and blasts away at ungodly speeds hiding the embarassment...
at this point me and my wife are laughing our asses off....it was a great drive back from applebees....

the unexpected races are usually the most entertaining for me lol.....when you plan it its just so bland and typical....when a domestic owner with a stockish gt with cobra bumpers thinks he's hot shit and embarrasses himself = win:vtec:

on another note, i have a race coming up with a faggot ass in a 95ish saleen mustang that thinks his car makes 400+whp just cause he can smoke his tiny ass 205/50/16's for a long time when taking off:mam:
(he works at auto zone and "rebuilt" his whole engine to be a monster with auto zone parts:laughat:)
he wants to go from 4th gear as well cause he "got so much powa cant get traction even on slicks":rotfl:

i've been running i/rh/e for almost a year, then added the rbc and been running this setup for 7months now, race pretty often, and done mountain runs which im constantly over 5600. if im running ridiculously lean, my motor should have blew up right now. but it hasn't*knock on wood:laughing:*

but i agree, to make full use of my mods, k-pro is a must. but k-pro for 05-06 is too much for me at the moment, so i'll be running this setup for a few more months:thumbsup:
