me(03 tpe-s) vs rx-8

Raced on a parkway i dont remember from what speed but i was in high 2nd. let him go 1st and still beat him by car and a half. Went again from high 3rd waited for him to take off. Beat him by 2 cars.

I seriously thought i was going to lose. I thought those saw were faster thean that. Oh and BTW my car also has unknown mods bc i bought it used.:weeeeeeeeee:

I dont get it:confused:...the rx8s are fairly light cars with more power than our rsx/s...how are they easy to pull on?

More power stock. But I've seen RSXs pull on cars with more power just because of the gearing of the Type-S.

from a roll i use to shit on stock or mildly modded RSX's in my rx-8, because they fall on their face at 120 mph. but after you put some decent modds on the rsx they would shit on me.

The RX-8 is lacking in the torque department (not unlike the RSX). I'm pretty sure their 1/4 mile is similar to the stock RSX in the mid 14s...

yeah but just like the average times for the rsx are low 15's, thats what rx-8's usually run.

Agreed. Both are low displacement, high revving engines that produce low torque. Granted the rx-8 uses a unique rotary engine to do so. I am still waiting for the day they put a turbo on the rx-8. that’d be nice.

yeah, it's slow just like the RSX. They only run mid 14s stock with a decent driver. It's obviously not made for a straight line race.

lol turbo kit that only adds 20whp :rotfl:...they will usually put down between 275-300whp with a greddy before they blow.

From the factory is what I meant. There were rumors of a factory turbo in the future models when they first came out with the rx-8, but looks like mazda will be content with continuing to produce another sporty car with all stop and no go.
