Depends on the race. If it's a race of, say, you trying to get to the grocery store as fast as possible before it closes, while she's trying to get to the tanning salon before it closes, then assuming you're both motivated enough to travel at your cars' max speeds (103 mph) then you're probably going to be able to get there before she does, assuming she doesn't have her boyfriend with her who "knows karate" and will threaten to beat you up if you look at her the wrong way after the race.

I don't hate on bases but a base auto is slower than slow, accept the fact that his car is faster. Not worth the waste of gas.
