Ok I have a music program that adds a sound eq to my desktop. It hides down by the clock on your taskbar. I can't find the CD and I wondering if anyone uses something similar.

Problem: When I play music from a webpage, i.e. youtube, the bass is just way too fucking loud. Before I would use the equalizer to lower the bass eq's. Most programs only control the sounds coming through their player, but I need a program that will control all audio at once. If I had winamp, vlc, and youtube all playing sound, it would control them all, like a master volume control.

My buddies uses it for hip hop since they go through like 40 tracks an hour, I tried it a few times, it's cool that you have all your files there, but i hate digging through folders, unless you you organize it very well, and have a pretty stable laptop, cause I seen it crash many times on people, that 's why i prefer using Cd's and cdj's.........at least it'll somewhat still feel like vinyl.....I just have this thing where at any minute the vibe can change and I rather prefer flipping through my cd book, instead of going through folders .

Serato is OK. I only like it primarly for the control.

I'm curious to see what Pioneer will be releasing on the September 16th that will revolutionize how DJ's mix their music. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a large menu driven CD-J with high source digital communication, interplay with laptops, and solid state devices. Can't wait. According to sources it's a pretty amazing player. Will wait.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Tiesto sucks as a DJ and lately as a producer as well.

Where he holds his own rank above all other dj's, is the fact that he's so well marketed that it's a smashing party A-N-Y-W-H-E-R-E he plays at.

There are so many great dj's and producers out there, far better than Tiesto. But as far as that party goes, nobody can touch him. Not even Armin van buuren. I suspect this trend will remain true for at least another 5 years.
