So my car got hit by a different party and their insurance is covering it.
Damages: Hood needs to be replaced, grill replaced, and minor front bumper damage.
Went to a body shop that comes highly recommended and they said that they'll hook me up free of charge if I decided to go with them. After I got the check from the insurance co. though, bodyshop said that I would have to cash it in and fork it over for the shop to start. (It's over $2,000).
Am I supposed to hold onto this until after the shops done? (which seems like the logical thing to do... after all, whats a quote for?) :shady:
