If you get the JDM set, aren't they aimed differently than the USDM set? How big of a difference is it? Would you even notice driving in the car?

There are a ton of threads that detail this thoroughly, but to kinda start you off... yes, they are aimed differently. The difference is relatively significant. And yes, you, as well as other drivers, notice it. USDM headlights are aimed so that the passenger side beam projects up-right to illuminate signs on the right side of the road. JDM headlights are aimed so that the driver side beam projects up-left to illiuminate signs on the left side of the road. If you use JDM headlights in the U.S., you end up blinding people on the left side of the road. Can you fix this? No. Can you make it not as bad? Yes, by aiming the headlights down so that at least it's not projecting straight at on-coming cars. Why can't you fix the aiming? Because there are only two levers per headlight: up-down and left-right. The JDM beam pattern as it would appear on a wall, is
\_____
where the driver side part of the pattern is diagonally projecting up-left. The USDM beam pattern as it would appear on a wall is
_____/
where the passenger side part of the pattern is diagonally projecting up-right.
With only up-down and left-right levers, you cannot "rotate" the beam of JDM headlights so that the driver side half levels out and the passenger side angels upward.
Make sense?
Do a search for more info.

Who did you talk to there? I would ask for Jeff.. he's taken care of me before in the past and I know another local guy that just got a set of lights from them recently.. in my book, they are good at handling customers..

I really wanted to buy these headlights too...but I just ended up doing it myself...saves a lot of money you know..Only spend $30....and about 6 hours of my time which is a lot. It's really easy...trust me....if I can do it.....anyone can..lol. But if you're not about fake artificial shit and want the real stuff..then so be it. But this is just my opinion.
