I just recieved my Phillips Blue Vision H1 bulbs and i noticed that they have one prong and the stock ones have two? I noticed that the think that plugs into the light has three slots. How does the h1 plug into the connector and also do i need to take my bumber off to get my houseing off because there is no way i can get my hand back in the low beam area to get the other bulb out. please help me out.

yes you have to take off the front bumper, yes it a bitch but it the only way to do it. also you are btter off geting the high beam bulbs also so you dont have to do the whole process all over again. I am not sure about the one prong because i dont have the philips bulbs...

The plug that you see with three slots actually plugs into a holder that goes in between the blub and the plug. You will see what I mean when you start getting everything apart. Your H1 bulb should only have one prong on it and it will fit right into the holder. So to make this simple there is a plastic holder... one side has one slot and accepts the bulb and the other side has three prongs and accepts the plug from the wiring harness. You don't need to remove the bumper if you are just replacing bulbs. Don't get me wrong it was a pain, but I was able to do it without removing the bumper. There are some pretty detailed directions with pics posted on this board how to do it. Try a search.

I'm glad everything worked out with the bulb replacement. Did you end up removing the bumper or did you just squeeze your hands in there like I did?
