It's on the JDM R, but the principle is the same:

if you check out aj-racing's website and look at their project dc5, they have some old pics of it on genuine CTR rims in championship white

look ok

None of the 05 lips fit on the 02-04 RSX, so that isn't Mugen.

It is the INGS lip which, for which a Type R lip is a prerequisite.

As for the rims, they look pretty good, but they look a bit flat....like there's no real dimension to it....

Hmmm upon second look, the Ings lip has less CF near the middle of the bumper....unless maybe that was a pic of an early version or something? They're the exact same design.....

its just the paint. They painted the upperpart white and painted the bottom part black to make it look like a splitter

i thin kits ings.... upon first glance thats what i thought, then read your posts. I think an explanation for the more cf is that the itr lip behind the ings is cf too ;) :dontknow: that is how i see it

though another interesting aspect is that the itr lip on teh white itr that you posted crazy, wraps around into the mouth of the front bumper, and if you look at the red in teh first pic, it does the same thing. and i know for a fact that the itr lip doesnt wrap inside the mouth as we see here. confusing me now, lol... its still ings, just the itr part doesnt look the same, unless the ings goes over and in the mouth? though on the white you can clearly see it attaches on the front. you know crazy?

what size are these? i was thinking about getting 05 rsx base model rims and painting them white with itr center caps.

the "JDM" 7 spoke rims are 17x7 inches, standard fit on the Civic Type R (EP3).

I put "JDM" because they're actually "UKDM" - the Civic Type R is sold here with those wheels and they're really common on our roads. Additionally the Civic Type R (domestic and JDM) is manufactured in the UK (Swindon, Wiltshire).

That's why they had the Civic Type R in BTCC for a while instead of the Integra R. I think they look okay on a DC5, not my first choice though.

i agree...i don't think ITR lip is a pre-requisite. It doesn't look like the INGs lip needs the ITR lip unless it uses it for support.

Clearly stated, the ITR lip doesn't wrap around close to the brake ducts shown by the white DC5 like the INGs lip shown by the red DC5. anyone able to clear this up for us?

the things is, i know that the itr lip is needed, ive seen it stated somewhere... i thought, lol... i just know it! hehe. but im glad you agree and see what im seeing

its almost as if.. on the ings company pic (whiteone) they just painted it two colors, to give that cf lip look, where as above in the red they didnt, hence why you can see black in the mouth as well. :D solved! maybe...

carbon fibers does mess up the color combination.

Hmmm yeah now im a bit confused about the Ings lip....maybe since al Type Rs have the Type R lip it was just assumed that it was a prerequisite and it wasn't tried without the Type R lip?

forgive me.. the ones i was thinking of are actually on the HFP Civic coupe.. not the HFP Si. but yes, they're 16".. the ones the Si gets are a 5 spoke pattern and are 17" wheels.

CTR rims are a dark silver finish, not bright/polished at all. Personally I think they look average on a CTR, don't suit the ITR at all but each to their own.

IMO rims should suit the profile, age and purpose of a vehicle. Get any one of these wrong and it looks wack. If you're looking for nice looking stock wheels to put on a DC5, try the Honda 17" Penta alloys for size - they come in gunmetal finish and I think they look great!
