: JDM Brembos with 05 wheels?
mikestypes 07-25-2005, 09:11 PM Will the Brembos from the TypeR fit with the 17" 2005 wheels? Will there be any issues with offset or spacing?
What is needed to do the front suspension conversion? I am looking at brakes (rotors and calipers), spindles, control arms, and front sway bar. Are the axles needed too?
CarLo 07-26-2005, 12:42 AM Yes.
Big Cam 07-28-2005, 08:37 PM nice answer

I've tried searching for something similar to this question but came up with no specific answer.
I just wanted to know if the ITR caliper and rotor will fit on the USDM hub? without having to get the any of the following: spacers/axle/hub/lcas/front sway
gbigstix 07-30-2005, 05:30 PM my friend did it looks sick
97 TYPE-R 312 08-01-2005, 10:50 PM Well I doubt the 17x7 DC5S wheel will fit over the DC5R BREMBO (w/o a spacer). I couldn't get my 16x7 +50 DC2R wheel to do so. The spokes touch the caliper. I was however able to fit a 17x7.5 +48 Enkei over it w/o issue.

it won't fit directly on the S
UnsungDC5 08-03-2005, 07:12 PM You're going to need the lcas.
You're going to need the lcas.
Meaning, I'll need spacers, itr hubs and an itr sway.

Are the rotors for the TypeR and TypeS the same diameter and thickness? If so, then I think that this is a great idea!

dc5k20a02 08-03-2005, 09:12 PM whats better the spoon or the brembo.. i know spoon and honda cars are well fit.
shitagi 08-03-2005, 10:28 PM the ap-racing brake kits are the best imo for god sakes if they are good enough for f1 they are bad ass for me ......oh and I think the nissin spoon brakes are better .

the S and R rotors are same diameter, but the R is slightly thinner; the S still fots in the brembos fine. Also, the R has a different venting in the disc
the only real difference is the offset of the rotors
