: Hub Centric Rings for Evo wheels on my DC5.

My friend gave me his Evo wheels. I've had them on my car before just to see how they look and I can honestly say I don't think they look too bad.

My neighbor, the owner of ASR (Reputable tuning shop in Miami) told me that I would need hub centric rings to make the wheels fit flush on my hubs and keep them from vibrating at high speeds. Does anyone know the exact dimensions for the rings I would need?

its just a plastic spacer that keeps the wheel centered on the hub. Any tire and wheel shop has them. Just tell them the size of your ima nd they can supply you with the right rings

you need to make sure the evo rims can take hubcentric rings..
is300 ones were machined to take them soo you would need to mod them to use hubcentric rings..

but just find out the hub size of the evo and the rsx.. and go to a shop and tell them the info.. they will set you straight..

just make sure before hand that the rims can take hubcentric rings

btw whatever info you have please post.. i was thinking of doing the same thing. but dont have a set to find out if they can use the rings.. thanks

I think the diameter of the RSX hub is 64.15mm. I don't know what the diameter of the evo wheel is though, so just find that out and get a hub ring with 64.15mm on the inside.

If you call up Discount Tire Direct, they will tell you the size you need. Just tell them what car you're driving and the Evo wheels. $15 shipped. Can't beat that.

that looks pretty good! OE enkeis!

is the dsm logo etched into the center of the wheel?

i checked on an evo site. they said that the bore of the evo is 67mm and an rsx is 64mm

do you know if the evo rims can accept hub centric rings

The evo VIII rims can not, the evo IX rims can.
