it's not straight honeycomb grill behind the "A". I don't have an 05-06, but i sort of remember seeing a pic with the emblem removed, that it was flat plastic with some holes, probably for screws.

You could remove the whole front grill portion...my room mate did and it looks like sex!

No, on the 05-06s the front grill comes out...on the 02-04 it is part of the bumper so you do yave to cut it out. :(

after seeing it, i really want to keep the grill off. but driving over 60 mph, every bug just splats instead of hovering over. so im gonna put it back on the save my radiator.:thumbsup:

That looks pretty good, how did you make the little trim around the edge? Pics of it on your car?

I just put the RED JDM emblems on my car all except the type-r .. I got hte Red H in front grill, red H in the back, and INTEGRA on the left and nothing on the right...

the RED H infront doesnt fit perfectly although u can pull it off with longer screws... but u need the type-r grill if u want it to fit like a puzzle piece.

yea, i dont think it would F**k it up or anything,unless it was a rock (then maybe) but after a while you would just have mad bugs jammed in your radiator...might look crappy, i think i might do it, just until i can get a grillcraft or somethin.

the only shitty thing is when the sun is low and shines RIGHT on the radiator, theres a definite aluminum line that pops out and its gross. but, when its noon, you cant tell.

yea grillcraft is custom fit, but its a honeycomb style design, tighter pattern than the stock grill though

i think the combo of bugs and rocks is going to mess up your rad

the bugs will clog it
the rocks will damage it

i wouldn't remove the whole thing - but it looks bad with the A missing

check into grille-tech.com - they only have the 02-04 grills so far, but should be coming out with 05-06 soon

By in the stock headlight housing what do you mean? If you wonder if I have HID's yes I do and I did mount the ballast under the headlight housing. Idk exactly what you ar asking me. :dontknow:

yea, what i was getting at was since H.I.D. bulbs are longer that regular H1 bulbs, the reflector from the stock headlight housing sometimes causes the light beam to aim higher so it looks like you have your high beams on: i was wondering if your H.I.D.'s are aimed higher/still maintain the stock reflection patter ( __/ __/ : how they aim up on the right) i was thinking about gettin some, but i am not sure if i should wait till a projector system comes out for the new 05-06 headlight assembly.

I am not too picky and the light pattern is alright for me. I noticed one of my headlights I had to re-aim but other than that all I get is compliments. I love them!

a pair of pliers and time. the back of the grill after you cut out the plastic has a little groove at the top. I cut ,bent and test fitted over and over so it was like an insertthe top of the mesh slid into the groove of the grill. then i used black silicone to finaly secure it. i couldent figure out how to secure the bottom so i just bent it over so it was touching the bottom of the grill and left it. once the grill is back in the bumper it dosent move much and the mesh is pretty sturdy so it wont flex or bend. and looking and those pics again i need to wash my car. so many dead bugs.
