i havent been using this camera for months and yesterday i decided to take a couple of pics.

and blam.........wtf is that purple lines on top...it appears on the lcd and the final image as well.. repairable?

something is wrong with the sensor?

If it's in the same spot on every shot than most likely it's the sensor. I don't know how old the camera is but it might be a costly repair considering the sensor is the meat of the camera.

Try some different settings, maybe it's a firmware bug.

Hmmmm.. nevber seen that before on the LCD AND photos.....


MY co-worker says it must be internal circuitry failure. Maybe one of the color channels is busted and creating the tint. It's too regular of a line to be an AMP problem...

it is dying
