I didn't shoot these but rather saw them on another forum I'm on. HDR with cars usually doesn't look very good at all IMO but these turned out amazing I think. Check em out:

Ahh.... I need to get CS2 already, I hate how CS1 doesnt do HDR nor does it handle RAW images

I'm not partial to the car HDR shots personally, I prefer the landscape/nature shots and also using it with people pictures.

That guy Arin does some incredible work. I've seen more of his work from Philly at nighttime. He finds the best spots to photograph.

why cant you do it?

i use photomatrix then edit in CS2

its really not all that hard... just can be time consuming

i like the first and last ones... not so much the middle

nice HDRs!!

i tried making mine, but didnt turn out so well =[

i tried two ways of making my HDRS:
1- taking different exposures then using photomatix
2- took one shot and changed the exposure in photoshop.

when i tried doing #2, it just made it really dark. any tips of how to make HDRs like yalls?

Yeah no problem... I didn't shoot them, someone else did.

how many exposures?

The guy said he used 3 exposures, converted to .tiff files, then merged & tone mapped with Photomatix.

Damn, although the yellows seem to be a bit overexposed in some areas, the image as a whole is excellent

That guy Arin does some incredible work. I've seen more of his work from Philly at nighttime. He finds the best spots to photograph.

Actually none of the photos appearing on my site in the galleries are from Philly. They are mainly from around Harrisburg, PA. I haven't ventured out much in Philly to shoot. It's a bit 'harder' than crime free Harrisburg, and I no longer have a wingman to watch my back when I'm shooting.

Also someone asked what camera and how many exposures... It's a canon 20D and over 10 exposures for each.

BTW, here is another HDR of my car. Enjoy:

I hate what HDR photography does to a cars reflections, however, the forest and the rest of the bg comes to life with HDR. I'd like to see that last shot of the GTI with a single exposure car pic c/p onto the HDR bg. I think that would look great.
