Image > Desaturate.
Image > Adjust > Hue and Saturation, check the colorize check... turn down the saturation and adjust to that tanish color.
at least thats how it looks like it was done there
speed_jaycer 09-29-2007, 09:29 PM looks more like a sepia tone to me...not a total desaturate...and the looks likeyou retained the blue eye color in the little guy...
76epiphone 09-29-2007, 09:29 PM that didn't would, at least i couldn't get it to that shade. I want to say i just clicked something and it changed the whole picture to that. I'll keep trying, thanks though Ozid

can you post the color version so I can play around with trying to match it in PS? That would greatly help me out in figuring out what you clicked LOL
speed_jaycer 09-29-2007, 09:54 PM actually it looks like you may have done
Image>Adjustments>Black and White> then when the pop up box comes up click the box at the bottom that says "tint" and adjust the saturation level....i don't know if that is it exactly but should get you close....
Nick2730 09-29-2007, 10:05 PM desaturate or b&w mode, then add some hue's and seph to the pic, then just use a color brush to do the eyes. I do it all teh time its my favorite mode
76epiphone 09-29-2007, 10:09 PM I should have mentioned i only have PS CS. just realized that when i couldn't find the "Black&white" thing you were talking about lol. You can try yourself though.

Nick2730 09-29-2007, 10:10 PM you want me to duplicate what you did? or do something else

76epiphone 09-29-2007, 10:21 PM damn, and you just did what you said above?
Nick2730 09-29-2007, 10:30 PM damn, and you just did what you said above?
not exactly actually, i changed my mind lol. All i did was first copy the base image, then went to image adjustments then desaturate to ditch the color but not the shadow or hues, then went to adjustments photo filter, towards bottom, then i choose a warm color to give it that warmish color, warming filter lba is what i used. then i sampled the eye color from the original pic, and used a color brush on it
Nick2730 09-29-2007, 10:31 PM obviously mine is a little off, i would play more with colors and hue settings to get the right tone, but you get teh point. Or you can desaturate and goto adjustments hues/saturation, then check preserve luminosity and start changing the hues around to get what you want
76epiphone 09-29-2007, 10:47 PM Thanks a lot dude, I'll play around with it. I know for sure i didn't do all that stuff, but if it works then cool. I need to practice more anyways, Just starting to get into photography. BTW +rep for helping.
