I've got a link to a similar series on my computer at work.
My favorite is: If there's more than 1, make them different.

example: 1 leg straight, 1 leg bent, etc

fuck rules.. going against the grain ftw!.. lol..

i'd say the best thing to do is just find shots that you like with certain poses, looks, etc and just try to emulate those shots and expand to others that you think look good..
