Heres my best run tonight @ LACR in Palmdale, Ca which is 3000 ft in elevation. I am not verry happy with my time even though i got .1 second quicker. Oh ya, I put my stocks back on. I used peoples methods, didnt work. Puck Pucks method didnt work for me and it gave me a 15.5 I dont think the gasket did anything but kept the engine from loosing power. I tried launching at various pts, 3500, 4000(gave me the 15.3), 3000, 2800 and various shift pts(7600, 7800,7900, 8000, 8100). My front psi was at 20. I had my rears at 50, but it was giving me shitty times, so i lowered them back down to stock 31. I need to find out what the hell is going on that i cant get a better 60 than a 2.4x I know the stock tires are capable of 2.2xx
Temp was about 55-60, no wind Well, at least i got .1 of a second quicker:thumbsup: but still not satisfied :(

peace out

that scale is ghetto!!!!!!! Is that without you in the car? Mine is 2825 with me in it

I ran on stock tires last week and 16psi at about 33-3500 was where I was getting the best ET's - that was on stock suspension

your rear psi is cool

Yes, i thought the scale was digital, but it wasnt. No i wasnt in the car. If i was, it would be 2865. I am guessing you weigh 125lbs? I weigh 165

Sorry for 3 posts in a row, but I just found out that Fontana Raceway, which is only 1100 above sea level(its sea level basically) has track day on the 14th and 15th of december. Any helpful hints for next time as far as psi's, and launch rpms?

When you put your tire pressure @ 20 psi your tires were hot right ? If so next time put them at 16-18, because the tire expands when its hot and will give you false readings ....So you were probally running 22-24psi in the front, but I dont think its going make to big of a difference ....But your time matchs your trap speed, so thats why I say you can improve to much .....You should be hitting 92-94mph trap speeds

yes when i put them at 20 they were hot, so i had them actually at 21-22 cause i know when hot, they are like 1 or 2 psi higher. Regarding the trap speed, its hard to trap at high elevations. I think I am going to rotate the tires and see what happens when i go to fontana next month
