: 24hr Restaurants?

I'm on the Vampire schedule and need food when I get off work at 4. I'm looking for suggestions or recommendations for some 24hr restaurants in the DC / NoVa area. Preferably off of 395 or 66 between DC and Centreville. I've been going to Yechon in Annandale too much and need something else.

So where do you all go when everyone is sleeping?

Not many "good" places that you're wanting are open 24 hours.
Denny's might be the best bet.

Uhhh at 4 in the morning you aren't going to get good food. You might as well look for a 24 hour McDonalds

There's one of those right around the corner.
:(

Why can't there be a Kabob place? Or a 24hr Chili's?
:(:(

Overhead. Most people at 0400 are in the market for fast and filling, and there's no sense paying a half dozen people at a sitdown place for a handful of occasional customers. On the other hand, a shit shack can operate with two or three, and it's easier for them to make money even when they don't see a lot of customers.

DC is the Waffle House Exclusionary Zone. The nearest one in VA is Dumfries, which pains me every time I'm in the mood for some hash browns.

Dude, go to Amphora in Vienna. You can hop off of 66 at Nutley and take it inot Vienna. Wneh Nutley meets 123, turn Right and Amphora is a block down on the left.

Great Greek restraunt. They have a great menu and a bar.

i agree, barnside is a pretty good place to eat w/ decent prices. its off of 395 and edsall road. i believe you're going north is the first exit, if you're heading 395 south its the second exit--will be on your right side after 1-2 lights. really low-key place which i like.

I wish a bunch of 24 hour places would get together in a shopping center.. would be better if conveniently located next to some bars so people could sober up there.. maybe have a 24 hour arcade there too..

There's not much business in running a private drunk tank. They'd make no money 5 days a week. Even better, unless there was a cop there all night it would be getting knocked off left and right by robbers.

Well it wouldn't HAVE to be alcohol based.. just be nice to have a bunch of 24h places in one spot..closest would be Centreville where IHOP is.. usually go drinking there then afterwards around 3'ish go to IHOP sober up.. get home around 5-5:30

Went there tonight. Got off work late and tried searching for food nearby. All the other restaurants along chainbridge/maple were closing up. Definitely not a typical NoVa kind of restaurant.
