Best thing for panning is keep feet planted.

Also shoot in TV Mode> Then setup for Automatic lighting(So if clouds move in keeps adjusting) > then drop the shutter to 125-80

All you will be doing is just twisting your hips. You move your feet then you wont capture it. Also dont do the angles as much, mostly because the lens is wanting to focus in on other spots vs the car.:thumbsup:

dont shoot in full manual because the light chages with each car, also you have to deal with clouds, sun, and other things.

So what happens is your not getting the motion shots because your running at 100Shutter with a 1.3.

Which will keep everything clear.

With just keeping in TV mode you can take the shutter down to 80 and not have any problems.:thumbsup:

Dude I have pulled a shit load of strings. And I only have 1. I am working on getting one more so I can have a spotter/2nd shooter.

If i were you i would get away from Photobucket.

They down grade shots, and also if your not Prem you could get the death red X/Excess bandwidth.

I run about 35gig+ in Bandwidth each month.

Get out of Full manual. Its messing with you due to the light changes, and what not.

Shoot in the mode that allows you to just adjust the shutter speed. Drop it down to 80-125.

The camera will adjust the Fstop, also set to Auto on the lighting.

Then you wont have to worry about glares, clouds, or fast light changes.:thumbsup:

Take those words and run with them. Grab the camera sit at a busy intersection and shoot away. And you will see with that setting you can shoot mini vans and make them look better moving than those you took.:noes:

Not tryin to turn you away or talk bad about the shots, just that with those it will make them a hell of a lot better. You have to learn some where. Yes people say those are great shots, but when you have to edit the shots heavly and have to adjust everything on the fly it makes it more of a hard thing then a enjoyable.

Yes I have been in your shoes. Shooting in full manual thinking that I could figure out all the right settings when exact I was wrong. and when you shoot 500+ shots and only 100(if that) are any good you want to just take it and throw it out the window.

You can take those words with a grain of salt or you can learn from them.
