Sorry for newbie question, don't mean to sound harsh or anything. Unless box is sealed, how will buyer know if it's brand new and not "wiped clean"?

it'll be in brandnew condition i am assuming...ha...Plus you'll be able to see if it's been worn out or not. Cracks, chips in the springs any indication of it possibly being put on i guess

You cant just wipe clean them once they're installed. There will always be scratches (unavoidable)
