Okay guys... I think I've found the car I'm gonna buy. It's an 04 Rio with 34xxx miles. It's got the factory body kit and larger rear spoiler/wing. They're asking $21,900 for it. I know there are better prices for an o4 with that mileage, but do you think it's a decent deal??

Can't wait to join the s2k club :D:weeeeeeeeee:

I'd probably shoot them $20k OTD and see what happens.

Update

Just got off the phone with my salesman. After 2 days of me saying I wasn't going to buy the thing without further testing (a leakdown test), and them saying they don't think there is anything wrong with the engine, and they stand by their merchandise, blah, blah, blah...

They finally decided they wanted to make the sale, so they agreed to pay for a leakdown. What do they find?? Cylinder #2's exhaust valve was definately damaged.

Damn, I hate being right all the time

Was funny though because I got to say "I told you so" to the salesman.

They're probably not gonna fix it. They'll probably just try to pawn it off onto someone else who doesn't ask to have the engine checked. So stay away from a yellow S2000 at Leith Euro in Raleigh NC.

Also, if anyone knows where I can find an 04-05 Rio with a good engine, hook a brother up
