I recently picked up an 08 and I beleive these are the following sizes for the rims.

Front:
17" x 7.0", +55 offset, 215 tire
Rear:
17" x 8.5", +65 offset, 245 tire

I am in the market for snow tires and I am planning to run a 215 width all around. Will this give me an issue in the rear, and will I be able to fit it without any issues?

Has anyone ran a 215 profile tire on their 8.5 inch rim before?

Thanks.

cant remember for sure but I doubt it would fit correctly - 215 on 8.5; rim is too wide. can be wrong though - check spec
there is some badass faq around - just too lazy to search for lol

what winter tires you picking up?

I would get as much narrow as possible for rims you have -> less contact area = more load for square inch = better traction

Allright,

I was going to run 225's all around, but my buddy had an extra set of 215's sitting around collecting dust because he sold his car. I was hoping they would fit, but just for safety reasons, i'm prob going to order a set of 225's.

Michelin PA2's, 3's and the Dunlop Winter Sport 3D are all good tires. However, I'm leaning toward the Dunlop's, because it seems like it's a better bang for the buck.
